Here is what you do at a dorm retreat:
-Leave at 4:30 pm Friday in suitemate's tiny Jetta, packed with 5 girls and lots of luggage. Even though we will be there only one night.
-Arrive at Camp Roger about 45 minutes later.
-Put swimsuit on and jump off the dock into the lake.
-Climb back onto dock because said lake is FREEZING.
-Decide that it is even colder back on the dock, jump back in, and swim to shore to pick up a rowboat.
-Climb in rowboat, paddle (with arms) for a few minutes, then jump out because you realize that the guys are coming to tip you anyway.
-Swim in circles holding on to the rowboat because between the six of you, you are completely unable to get either back into the rowboat, or get the rowboat back to shore.
-Eventually make it back to shore.
-Watch the canoe race.
-Have dinner.
-Play cards (spoons, kemps, etc.)
-Have bonfire, tell ghost stories, eat s'mores, sing songs.
-Go on a night-hike to the 2nd highest point in Kent County. (How high can that really be, anyway??)
-Come back, eat left-over s'more supplies, and go to bed at 1:30.
-Wake up at 8:00 next morning for breakfast, clean-up and dorm worship.
-Drive back to school.
Yep. That was my super-fun dorm retreat! Now I am doing homework and laundry, which I have lots of. Both, I mean. Tonight after dinner I'm hoping to go to Jersey Junction (ice cream place) and Reeds Lake. Also hoping to somehow get tons of homework done and be able to get some sleep this weekend.
If you could meet any one person -- living or dead -- for one day, who would you meet? What would you ask?
Answers, please.

Hahahaha... I can just picture a bunch of girls swimming around not being able to get back in the rowboat. It's a funny picture. :)
